Welcome to the official Dr. Beatrice O. Jones Elementary School Web site!
Our school, built in 1968, is named in honor of Beatrice O. Jones, M.D., a pediatrician and former Racine Public School Board member. Dr. Jones was also the first woman to serve as president of the Racine County Medical Society and also served as Chief of Staff of the former St. Lukes Hospital in Racine.
Dr. Jones Elementary School continually works to prepare students to become responsible, life-long learners with a belief that students should develop a love of knowledge; be responsible for their own social and educational outcomes; develop an appreciation for our diverse cultures; develop self-motivation for learning; and develop a sense of accomplishment in their school work to prepare them to successfully participate in a global economy.
